Educational and Enrichment Programs
Our kindergarten program offers the best possible preparation for children entering 1st grade. With high-quality, individualized instruction, we nurture children’s preferred learning styles and abilities in a nurturing and safe environment. Students have a flexible daily schedule and are exposed to new perspectives and experiences through weekly field trips and do-it-yourself workshops with local community members.
Our after-school enrichment begins with a focus on academics and support to help children complete their homework before they go home. We work closely with each child to identify learning gaps and help them excel academically. Students receive healthy, nutritionist-approved snacks and have time for reading, fun, and play.
A typical day at summer and day camp includes: academics (Math, Reading, Writing & Comprehension), Community Service, Character Development, S.T.E.M. activities, Field Trips, Art & Craft and Local Parks. Our summer camp is organized into weekly themes that include science, art, sports, the human body, and outdoor adventures. Children engage in small workshops, do-it-yourself programs wih local community members, community service, and weekly field trips.
We offer private tutoring to help identify and close learning gaps in math and literacy for K-8.
- Standardized Test Prep
students receive support and instruction for standardized test preparation (CMAS and PARCC) in a small-group setting. The focus is 3rd - 5th grade.
-Reading Comprehension Program
This program teaches and reinforces comprehension skills through various individual and group activities. It is a part of our summer program to prevent summer reading loss but is offered during the school year.
